106このカリキュラムは〈美術を通して、国内外の文化を学び、国際的に活躍する教養人をめざす〉という芸術文化専攻の教育目標にそって開発されました。「海外芸術研修IIA/IIB」と「グローバルコミュニケーションII」では、ただ講義を受けるだけではなく、国際的な芸術と文化について直に体験することができる機会、またグローバル環境で日本の芸術と文化について積極的にコミュニケーションする場を設けています。 COVID-19のパンデミックの制約で、学生はイギリスに行くことができず、展覧会を含めた全てのプログラムをオンラインで開催しました。授業は全てネイティヴスピーカーの講師によって、主に英語で行われ（※）、展覧会プロジェクトでは国際的な環境でアート関連イベントの企画・設営・記録の体験をします。今回、ラフバラ大学とともに、英語の授業に加えて、美術の話題についての国際コミュニケーション力を高めるために、イギリスの学生と交流しながらアートと文化関係の授業を行いました。最後に、海外芸術オンライン研修の様子をバイリンガルのカタログ（記録集） としてまとめることで、体験を成果物として形にし、将来に向けた自信とスキルを身につけます。※カタログ（記録集）制作の授業は日本語で進行します。この記録集では、女子美術大学芸術文化専攻「海外芸術研修IIA/ IIB」のカリキュラムを紹介しています。「海外芸術研修IIB」はヨーロッパでの1か月にわたる滞在研修であり、「海外芸術研修IIA」は、その準備のための授業です。今年はCOVID-19の大流行のため、海外渡航は不可能となり、オンラインでの授業が行われました。「グローバルコミュニケーションII」では、それらに関連した授業を行い、「グローバルコミュニケーションIII」では、海外芸術研修IIB」での活動の記録の作成と現状の芸術文化を勉強して書くことを目的としています。これらの授業は芸術文化専攻2・3年生の必修科目となっています。Curriculum Summary Overviewカリキュラムのねらい授業Curriculum Summary Overview グローバルコミュニケーションⅡ(遠隔)／グローバルコミュニケーションⅢ(遠隔)海外芸術研修IIA(遠隔)／海外芸術研修IIB(遠隔)Curriculum AimsClasses“Through art, we aim to study domestic and international cultures, but also nurture educators able to work in global settings”*The bilingual catalog making classes are conducted in Japanese.This publication documents the classes related to the Overseas Art Studies 2A and 2B curriculum of the Art & Culture Concentration of Joshibi University of Art and Design.In their second and third years of study, as a core part of the curricu-lum, undergraduate students majoring in Art & Culture are required to take these subjects.This curriculum has been developed in accordance with the main aims of the Concentration in Art & Culture:This course provides opportunities for students to not only learn about, and directly experience international art and culture, it also gives a platform for students to actively communicate about Jap-anese art and culture in a global setting. The restrictions of the COVID-19 pandemic prevented us from taking students to the UK, and the programme was held online.With all classes predominantly* conducted in English by native English speakers, the exhibition project is designed to give students practical experience of planning, mounting, and documenting an art related event in a global setting. This time, the exhibition was held online.This time, in conjunction with Loughborough University, in addi-tion to English classes where Joshibi students learnt about British culture, joint classes were conducted in conjunction with British students to enhance international communication based on the topic of art and culture.Finally, the making of a bilingual book documenting the UK Over-seas Art Studies online programme, gives students confidence and skills to take their experiences and record them for the future.Overseas Art Studies 2A is a series of 15 classes preparing the stu-dents for Overseas Art Studies Trip 2B, which is a normally one- month long art study trip to Europe. This year international travel was not possible, and classes were held online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Global Communication 2 provides classes extending on the above subject matter.
