A large light bulb is drawn next to the composition. The filament of the light bulb depicted in her work is represented by a wire, and a shadow made of wire is also used. The light bulb is drawn on one side, so I pay attention to the wire that is bent like a screw.The work is expressed in black and white, so the result is a retro, sophisticated and fashionable postcard design. She majored in textiles and this work was made as a basicfashion practice. Currently, retro culture is attracting attention in Japan, and calm monotone colors and goods that make you feel nostalgic are gaining popularity among young people. It seems to be a design that you can feel the culture of the good old days, such as a nostalgicblack-and-white movie.JOANNA kRONk彼女の作品は簡潔に「つながり」というテーマを表現している。彼女はつながりという言葉を白と黒で描いた電球を通して表している。構図は大きな電球が横に寝た状態で描かれている。作品に表された電球のフィラメントは、針金で作ったものを画面にはめ込み、その針金でできた影も利用している。電球の側面を描いた絵に、ネジのように曲がった針金のフィラメントが目を惹きつける。白黒で表現された作品なので、レトロで洗練されたおしゃれなデザインのポストカードに仕上がっている。彼女はテキスタイルを専攻していて、この作品はファッションの基礎練習で作られたものである。日本ではレトロ文化が現在注目されていて、落ち着いたモノトーンカラーやどこか懐かしさを感じる雑貨が若者の間で人気である。この作品はそんな昔懐かしい白黒映画のような古き良き時代の文化を感じられるデザインだと感じた。JOANNA KRONK
