Change and Art : NINOMIYA Mizuki91ているように、スタジオジブリの宮崎駿監督がアニメ界を代表する偉大な人物として紹介され、将来教科書に掲載されているかもしれない。社会は人間によって作られている。アートは、人間が創り出す社会やトレンドを背景に創作されている。そのため、急速に変化する社会に応じてアートのあり方が変化し、表現の選択肢が増加していくのだ。アートは変化を好むものだ。現在は芸術の一つとして数えられる「浮世絵」は、かつての日本では人気の娯楽として認識されていた。 しかし、19世紀後半にはヨーロッパの画家に大きな影響を与え、ジャポニスムと呼ばれる運動を生み出したそれは間違いなく芸術だ。 このように娯楽がアートに変化したように、今日の娯楽は未来でアートに変化するかもしれない。今では、科学技術が世界的に発展し人間が行う作業はますます機械に取って代わられている。しかし、アートを機械に置き換えることは可能なのだろうか。例えば、すでに検討されているものや作られたものを大量生産することが機械には可能だが、機械は一から何かを設計することはできない。何もないところから何も生み出せない。ゼロからすべてを作ることができるのは人間だけなのだ。つまり、アートは多くある分野の中で人間にしかできないことなのだ。だから、アートが時代遅れになることは決してないだろうと考える。確かに、日本では美術教育が不足していることや、他国と比べて美術の視点が離れていることなど、文化政策には問題があるかもしれないが、人間の心が創り出す芸術は常に形を変えていく。人間の心が創り出すアートは、常に形を変え、人々の生活に密着していると感じる。だからアートは常に人の傍にあって、アートの重要性は、現在、過去、そして未来においても変わらないと私は確信している。mainstream and the idea that using wood was outdated.
