92Change and Art : NINOMIYA Mizukitimes today may one day be transformed into art. What kind of influence does the boundary between art, design, entertainment, etc., which belong to the same category of art, and the impression given by the words that call each of them have on people? The boundaries are vague. How should we pass on the power, role, and necessity of art to more people and the younger generation? I think that the will of those who try to take such a policy is also the way of contemporary art. Nowadays, technology is advancing worldwide, and the work done by humans is increasingly being replaced by machines. But is it possible to replace art with machines? I think it's impossible. For example, it will be possible to mass-produce what has already been consid-ered and what has been made. However, machines can never make a design from scratch. A machine without thought cannot produce anything from nothing. Only hu-man beings can create something from scratch. In other words, I think that art is something that only humans can do in many fields. So I'm sure art will never go out of fash-ion. Certainly, there may be some issues in cultural policy such as the lack of art education in Japan and the sense of distance between art perspectives compared to other coun-tries, but the art created by the human heart is constantly changing its shape. I felt that the art created by the human mind constantly changes its shape and stays close to peo-ple's lives. That's why art is always important, and I don't think there is any difference between the times. I'm sure that the importance of art will not change in the present era, the past, and the future.
